Fate/Zero Episode 15

Saber using Excalibur was executed so beautifully in this episode that it puts the similar scene from fate/stay night to shame! It really was a Golden Radiance!

This series also continues to give characters very nice deaths, and when I say nice I mean they befitted that particular character, I of course draw this inference from Caster and Ryuunosuke's deaths, Ryuunosuke died grinning because he realized that all he wanted was to see his own guts spilling out, which considering who he was just made sense. As for Caster, he saw the light of Excalibur as the Light of Jeanne D'Arc, which of course is technically right as Archer and Rider explain that, that light is the brilliance of a tragic hero, which describes Jeanne D'Arc and Arturia perfectly, and since according to Iri, the light shines with the last dreams of warriors past, present and future, then in a way it was the light of Jeanne.

Watching this episode I realized that I must really sit down and make a separate post about the three kings of this series. 
Other than that I can't wait to see the final battle between Saber and Lancer!
